olive oil / unsalted butter

How to:

  2. Add the sugar or honey to the yeast mixture and stir to incorporate it.
  3. Add the flour and the salt and knead in to form a dough. Continue to knead until the dough has fully come together and has a bounce or elasticity to it with slightly pinched.
  4. In the same bowl, scrap out the dough, coat the bowl with some olive oil or butter and place the dough back to the bowl.
  5. Cover the dough with a damp cloth of some cling film and let it stand to proof/rise in a warm place until it doubles in size approximately an 45mins to and hour.
  6. Once ready, divide it to desired ball sizes and you are ready to make your favourite pizza.

Notes

  1. Makes sure your water is on the warm approx.. 110 degrees
  2. Once the dough had risen DO NOT OVER WORK THE DOUGH otherwise you will lose the air and bubbles that aid the dough to rise well.
